The zihgir is an archer’s thumb ring — worn on the thumb to protect the skin when drawing a bowstring. It was standard equipment for Ottoman and Seljuk archers, and over time became a prestige object: carried by sultans, gifted to commanders, engraved with names and symbols. This ring continues that tradition in solid 925 sterling silver.
