This handcrafted 925 sterling silver necklace is inspired by Kürşad — the Göktürk prince who, in 639 AD, led a daring escape from the Tang Dynasty imperial court in Chang'an with only 39 companions against thousands of imperial guards. Though the escape failed, the act became one of the most celebrated moments of Turkic heroism — a story of defiance, dignity, and the refusal to submit. His name has been carried forward for nearly 1,400 years as a symbol of the unbreakable Turkic spirit. The pendant features the symbolic silhouette of Kürşad surrounded by traditional Turkic motifs, handcrafted with intricate detail reflecting ancient craftsmanship.

About Kürşad
Kürşad was a prince of the Eastern Göktürk Khaganate, taken to the Tang court as a hostage after the fall of the Second Göktürk Empire. His escape attempt — known as the Kürşad Revolt — with just 40 warriors against the most powerful empire of the 7th century became a defining story of Turkic identity. The number 40 — the 40 warriors — carries deep symbolic weight in Turkic and Islamic tradition alike.
