About Kürşad
Kürşad was a prince of the Eastern Göktürk Khaganate, taken to the Tang court as a hostage after the fall of the Second Göktürk Empire. His escape attempt — known as the Kürşad Revolt — with just 40 warriors against the most powerful empire of the 7th century became a defining story of Turkic identity.
