The pendant on this necklace is a double-sided locket engraved with the Seal of Solomon — a six-pointed star formed by two interlocking triangles, known in Arabic as Khātam Sulaymān (خاتم سليمان). The symbol appears across Islamic, Jewish, and broader Near Eastern traditions, and was widely used in Ottomanamulet and talisman production, appearing on rings, pendants, manuscripts, and architectural surfaces. In the Ottomancontext it was associated with wisdom, protection, and the authority attributed to the prophet-king Solomon.

The locket opens to reveal a second engraved face, which can carry a personalized inscription — initials, a name, a date, or a short phrase in Latin or Arabic script.
