The medallion as a form of Islamic devotional object has a long history. Pilgrims returning from Mecca carried engraved silver discs. Soldiers wore them under their armor. Mothers placed them around the necks of their children before long journeys. The object was understood to carry something — not as superstition, but as a physical reminder of what the wearer believed and who they were asking for protection.

This medallion works in that tradition. It is 3.5 cm in diameter, solid 925 sterling silver, and engraved on both faces. One side carries Surah Al-Falaq, Surah An-Nas, and Surah Al-Ikhlas — the three surahs the Prophet, peace be upon him, recited each morning and evening for protection. The other side carries Surah Al-Fatiha and Amenerrasulü. At the center, your name or the name of the person you are giving this to is engraved in Arabic calligraphy.

The chain is a King chain — a flat, interlocking link style that lies well against the chest and holds its shape over time. It is available in eight thicknesses, from a fine 2 mm to a substantial 9 mm, and in lengths from 45 cm to 75 cm. The weight of the chain varies significantly by thickness; the table below gives exact figures so you can choose what suits you.

Weight increases with length. Total weight with medallion is approximately 37 g at the 3.5 mm chain.
