Black amber (siyah kehribar) is among the rarest forms of amber found in Anatolia and the Baltic — its deep, near-opaque color the result of organic inclusions and mineral compression over millions of years. In Ottoman and Anatolian jewelry traditions, black stones carried associations with protection, grounding, and masculine restraint: the opposite of display, a stone worn for its weight and presence rather than its brilliance. This medallion sets a natural black amber stone in solid 925 sterling silver with tumbled and oxidized surface detailing that deepens the carved edges and gives the piece its characteristic aged, editorial quality.

The medallion hangs on a king chain in your choice of 2 mm or 2.2 mm thickness and lengths of 50, 55, 60, or 65 cm.
