The face of this ring is built around a Seljuk star — the eight-pointed star formed by two overlapping squares, one of the most persistent geometric forms in Anatolian and Islamic decorative arts, appearing in tilework, stone carving, woodwork, and metalwork from the Seljuk period through the Ottomancenturies. Set at the center of the star is a sultan stone (alexandrite-type color-changing stone), which shifts between green and purple tones depending on the light source.

The band carries a series of engraved motifs drawn from Ottomanvisual culture: a four-minaret mosque silhouette, a tulip, a crescent, and a realm seal. The tulip (lale) was one of the most significant ornamental motifs of the Ottomanperiod, appearing extensively in İznik tilework, textile design, and court art from the 16th century onward. The four-minaret mosque form references the great imperial mosques of Istanbul. On the interior of the band, three verses from Surah At-Talaq (Quran 65) are engraved — verses associated in Islamic tradition with trust in God and relief from difficulty.
