Kefa bil-mevti vaizan — “Death is sufficient as an advisor.” A phrase carried by scholars, Sufi masters, and warriors across the Islamic world as a reminder of what matters and what does not. It is engraved on the inside of this ring — a private inscription, felt against the skin, not displayed to the world.

On the face: a sultanite stone, one of the rarest color-changing gems in the world, found only in Turkey. In daylight it reads green; under incandescent light it shifts toward purple or red. The change is caused by the stone’s unique absorption of light across the spectrum — a quality that no other stone replicates. Engraved by hand using traditional kalem işçiliği technique.
