Hz. Ömer ibn al-Khattab, the second caliph of Islam, was known for carrying a ring engraved with four words: Kefâ Bil-Mevt Vâizân — Death is Enough as a Counselor. He wore it not as an ornament but as a reminder. The man who commanded an empire stretching from Persia to Egypt chose to keep this sentence on his finger — a constant, private instruction to himself: remember what is coming, and act accordingly. It is said that this awareness was what made him just. He could not be corrupted by power because he never forgot that power was temporary.
This ring carries that same inscription. The phrase is engraved in Arabic calligraphy into a natural green agate stone set at the center of a solid 925 sterling silver band. Agate has been used in Islamic jewelry for centuries — the Prophet, peace be upon him, is reported to have worn an agate ring, and the stone has long been associated with protection and clarity of mind.
