The pendant is an octagonal medallion in solid 925 sterling silver. The octagon is one of the most significant geometric forms in Islamic and Ottomanvisual culture — it appears in architectural tilework, manuscript illumination, woodwork, and metalwork across the Anatolian and broader Islamic world, where it carries associations with balance, completeness, and the transition between the earthly and the divine.

The face of this medallion carries Arabic calligraphy with phrases drawn from the classical tradition of romantic and devotional expression: “To love like a knot,” “Love,” “One is with whom they love,” “As the first day.” At the center, the customer’s chosen initials or names are monogrammed by hand. Blue topaz stones are set along the top and bottom edges of the octagon. The reverse side carries the Ayat al-Kursi (Throne Verse, Quran 2:255), one of the most widely used protective inscriptions in Islamic jewelry and amulet tradition.
