Turkish Knit Sterling Silver Braided Bracelet 925 Handmade

The knit pattern on this bracelet — sometimes called a wheat or rope weave — is one of the older continuous-link structures in silversmithing. Each unit interlocks with the next in a repeating diagonal sequence, creating a surface that moves with the wrist rather than sitting rigid against it. The result is a bracelet that drapes rather than clamps, and catches light differently depending on the angle.

The construction is done by hand in solid 925 sterling silver. Hand-knitting silver at this scale requires consistent tension across each link; machine-made versions of the same pattern tend to have a more uniform but flatter appearance. The handmade version has a slight variation in surface texture that becomes more visible over time as the piece develops a natural patina.
