The face of this octagonal medallion is engraved with the coats of arms of the 16 Turkic states — a historiographical framework developed in Turkish nationalist thought of the 20th century to enumerate the major Turkic political entities from the Gökturk Khaganate (552 CE) through the OttomanEmpire. The medallion also carries the seal of Oğuz Khan and the tamgas (tribal marks) of the 24 Oğuz tribes, the genealogical and mythological foundation of the Oghuz Turkic peoples from whom the Seljuk and Ottomandynasties descended.

Additional motifs include the Seljuk double-headed eagle — a heraldic form used in Seljuk Anatolia from the 12th century onward, appearing on coins, stone reliefs, and metalwork — three crescents, and the Grey Wolf (Bozkurt), the totemic symbol of Turkic origin mythology. The Teşkilat-ı Mahsusa emblem is also present. A phrase in Old Turkic calligraphy is engraved on the medallion. Red zircon stones are set into the octagonal frame. The center section carries a personalized crescent and star detail — specify your customization at checkout or via message after ordering.

The chain is a King Chain in solid 925 sterling silver, available in four lengths (50–65 cm) and two thicknesses (2 mm and 2.2 mm).
