Green amber — sometimes called green Baltic amber — is among the rarer color variants of fossilized resin. Its color comes from the internal structure of the material rather than from pigment: the green tone appears when light passes through the stone at certain angles, shifting between olive, forest green, and warm yellow depending on the light source. The stone set in this ring is natural amber, not synthetic resin.

The setting and band are worked in solid 925 sterling silver with Ottoman and Arabic decorative motifs engraved around the stone and on the sides of the band.
