The Rawda al-Mutahhara β€” the sacred garden between the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad and his pulpit inside Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina, also known as Riyad al-Jannah, the Garden of Paradise. Its dome is one of the most recognized forms in the Islamic world. Here it is carved into the face of solid 925 sterling silver using negative stone carving technique, the dome rendered in precise relief.

On the sides: the names of the four great Caliphs β€” Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali β€” written in Arabic letters. Ottoman motifs are engraved around the dome by hand pen. Ruby stones are set across the design, their deep red adding warmth and presence to the silver.
