About the OttomanSanjak
The Sanjak — from the Turkish word for “banner” or “flag” — was the sacred standard of the OttomanEmpire, carried into battle as a symbol of divine authority and imperial power. The most revered of all was the Sancak-ı Şerif — the Holy Banner of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) — kept in the Topkapı Palace and brought out only in times of great war or crisis. To carry the Sanjak was to carry the honor of the empire itself. Engraved on black zircon and set in silver, it becomes a wearable declaration of that legacy.
